Camp Cottermouth offers most schools sole use for their group with coaches able to park at the front door. Your students can relax and unwind in a safe environment away from the fast paced city environment.
We offer student and teacher cabins and single room coach driver cabins.
If camping is your preference, we have facilities we can offer you.
We offer full catering, providing your school with a daily hot breakfast and dinner with morning tea, lunch and afternoon provided for your daily excursions. Special dietary requirements are catered for.
For a unique school camp experience without sharing with other schools, Camp Cottermouth is the place to stay.
Camp Cottermouth is Scouts ACT's camping, training and accommodation centre. It offers cabin accommodation, training and conference facilities, and camping for individual Scout formations or major events. The built accommodation is available on a fully catered or self-catering basis. The Kangaroo Flat campground has a large number of sites over an extensive area. Facilities include an ablutions block, shade shelters, stage, cookouts, classrooms, and activity spaces. Camp Cottermouth welcomes other youth development organisations.
Scouting bookings at the camp are taken by the Camp Managers in the same way as other bookings.

A self catered stay is a wonderful way to take advantage of our commercial kitchen facilities and dining hall here at Camp Cottermouth. We have all the equipment you could ever need to cook up a feast!! We also offer a fully catered option for community groups.
Our modern cabins can host up to 110 people in bunk style accommodation.
Hosting your event in a bush setting at Camp Cottermouth allows you plenty of open space and access to the picturesque Murrumbidgee river corridor and its walking trails.
