Camping

Camp Cottermouth has designated campgrounds available and can accommodate up to 1000 Scouts and their leaders (BYO camping gear).  There are several permanent shelters with a steel roof, training rooms, a cookout area and toilet/shower facilities available for campers use.

Within the cookout you have access to a barbeque, fridges, freezers, gas burner hotplates, a microwave and toaster.  You are required to bring your own cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, etc.  The cookout is sheltered and can seat upto 30 people with tables and benches provided for your use. If you would like to use any of these facilities, please reserve them at a time of booking for your camp.

The centrally located toilet block has four separate blocks accommodating female adults, female children and male adults, male children.  There are forty toilets in total and 32 divided showers.  There is hot water all year round supplied to this toilet block.

Many camp sites have water and some have power close by.

There are three designated campfire circles within the campground.  Imagine roasting marshmallows and sharing stories with your friends.  Please note fire restrictions may apply.
